Perhaps the most painful type of hemorrhoid is a thrombosed hemorrhoid. A thrombosed hemorrhoid is a hemorrhoid which has clotted inside the rectum (or externally in some cases). Most thrombosed hemorrhoids can cured without the need for surgery. Thrombosed hemorrhoids range in size from being very small through to being larger than a golf ball.
Natural remedies can make a big difference to sufferers of thrombosed hemorrhoids; in fact, when natural cures are used correctly they can fully cure thrombosed hemorrhoids. Below we have listed some useful tips to relieve hemorrhoid pain:
Use warm baths to ease the pain and reduce the swelling of hemorrhoids. At least 2 bathes per day in warm water are recommended. If you can sit down thats great ” if this causes you too much pain however; squatting is fine.
One of the most painful things for hemorrhoid sufferers is to pass a stool. You can make this a lot easier by making the stool softer which can be done by increasing your daily fiber intake. That means eating more fruits, cereals, and vegetables.
Stay hydrated by drinking a minimum of 8 glasses of water per day. This may sound like a lot but if you make a conscious effort to do it you will soon realize that is not a lot at all. Try to avoid ever feeling thirsty ” this is your bodys way of telling you that it is becoming dehydrated.
Apply ice to the anal opening (or affected area). This will reduce the blood flow to the area and will also numb the thrombosed hemorrhoid. Wrap ice in a cloth to apply.
Apply over the counter hemorrhoid creams for pain relief. (NB: Some creams may cause extra irritation to your skin so choose one carefully)
Use Ibuprofen as a pain relief.
Increase your rate of metabolism by walking for 20 minutes a day. This is probably best done after having a sitz bath or when you feel the least pain.
When cleaning your anus after bowel movement, use a soft towel or extra soft toilet paper to minimize irritation.
A fast and easy way to cure thrombosed hemorrhoids is using a natural system such as the one created by Holly Hayden called H-Miracle. H-Miracle has cured many thousands of cases of hemorrhoids and also provides fantastic information about ways to get quick pain relief.
If you decide to go with surgery (we strongly recommend you try every other possible option first) there are numerous options available to you, some of them include:
Rubber Band ligation ” this process involves tying a rubber band around the hemorrhoid which restricts blood flow to the hemorrhoid. The hemorrhoid then eventually shrivels up and disappears.
Hemorrhoidectomy ” generally a last resort for hemorrhoid removal, this painful surgery fully removes the thrombosed hemorrhoid but you may require several weeks or more to recover fully.
Sclerotherapy ” the infected area is injected with a shrinking agent. The hemorrhoid eventually disappears.
Before considering surgery, make sure you have tried natural hemorrhoid cures. In many cases these can cure hemorrhoids totally within a couple of weeks.
