When I found out that I was expecting my first child, a son, my life really changed. I started to be more conscious about everything to what I ate and what kinds of chemicals surrounded me everyday. This prompted me to look into things like organic baby clothes. I wanted to give my baby the healthiest start possible and keep him free of all contaminants that could cause harm.

Organic baby clothing has really caught on and it is not to hard to find anymore. If you look in the right places, you will be amazed at what is available. I have since stocked the baby’s complete wardrobe and it is all totally organic.

I also looked into purchasing organic baby bedding and was pleased at the selection offered as well. I got an assortment of crib sheets, some receiving blankets and I was even able to purchase an organic crib mattress. I am really happy that I decided to go this route and am now patiently awaiting his arrival.

I am happy to say that I am married with two children.  They are both great kids and we are so blessed to have them.  Though our first child was an easy experience, when we had the second one it was completely different.

You see, after the birth of my daughter, my wife ended up with postpartum depression.  I don’t know if you have ever lived with someone that is depressed, but it was tough.  All she wanted to do was sleep, and when she was awake, she was not the same woman I married – she was very different.

In an attempt to fight the depression, we were prescribed generic Zoloft.  I picked it up at the pharmacy (which was a welcome break) and returned home.  She tried it out for a couple of weeks, but it seemed to be ineffective on her.

So back to the doctor we went.  The second time around we were told to buy Paxil and give it a try.  Another couple of weeks went by and she made some remarkable improvements.  Things seemed to be going along a lot better for her, but not so much for me.

I made a special trip to the doctor and found out that I was depressed too.  Seems that living with a woman with postpartum depression was not so good for me, and I ended up needing medication as well.  When I was given my prescription, I went home to order Prozac online – I didn’t want her to know.

Thankfully, about six months later, our depression was gone and we were able to discontinue using the medication.  At least now we know what signs we should be looking for when we have our next baby – if we notice any signs of depression we will be off to the doctor right away.

I am going to be taking my first out of country business trip in a couple of months and I am wickedly excited about it. I will be spending five days at an expo in Spain. As my flights and holiday rentals are all being paid for by the company, I had little say in where I stayed or how long. I went to talk to my boss about taking some holiday time and extending my return tickets, allowing me to enjoy the country. He agreed that this would be a great opportunity for me.

I would like to find a place that does motorhome rentals, so I could travel to different towns and see more of the country. This would save me a pile of money and I love being able to take my leisurely time.

I am also going to be looking into some villa rentals in Barcelona, where I hope to meet up with a few friends for a few days. I expect to take a couple of extra weeks after the business trip and I can’t stop thinking about it. I can’t wait.

This past year, our business has been plagued with numerous problems.  Whether it was a staffing shortage, or logistics problems, there has been a flood of never ending headaches.  So, just as the year is ending, it is time to make some changes.

I just sent out a memo yesterday letting the human resources department go.  You see, I found that I could take advantage of human resources outsourcing and save our firm some money.  Cutting expenses wasn’t the only option I was looking at, but it would help save our bloated company some money.

The E-commerce services department was also let go because they had the highest sick rate (an average of 30 days) this past year.  The level of absenteeism was totally unacceptable, and we needed a change there anyway – our website had become stagnant.

Lastly, I have decided that the management team we have sucks.  There has been a lack of control and direction from the management and if we continue down this path, our company will disappear.  Instead, I have  enlisted the services of a professional management recruitment firm to find us some management candidates – I am hoping to have a new management team in place to start the new year.

So, next year will see a radical change to our business.  Though it may look smaller, I think we will see bigger possibilities next year.

If you own a website, chances are that you are doing a little marketing.  Without marketing your site, no one would know it was there and you would never get any visitors.  Since the goal of a website is to get some traffic (and sales too), you need to get the word out that your site is there and share what it has to offer.

Do any of you submit your sites to link directories?  I know I do.  With so many new ones coming out each week it is hard to keep track of which ones you have submitted to.  I find it hard to keep track of the new ones as well.

This week I was luck enough to find a site that had everything you could ever want in a site about link directories.  The site has over 8000 web directory listings including everything from fee directories to ones that offer deep links.  Best part it is free.

So, I have been making my way through the list on the site and submitting my websites to it.  It is sure going to take a long time – I may need to find a better way to do this.

Well, today didn’t go so well.  You see, while out grocery shopping, my car decided to quit.  No, I didn’t leave it running, but it just wouldn’t start when I got outside.

Now, I know that it is winter and there is snow, but the car really hasn’t had any problems this winter.  We decided that it was time for a new vehicle, now all we needed is some money.

We have a little bit of money saved up, but there is not enough there to buy a set of tires.  So, I needed a way to get crazy returns but with a short period of time.  I am sad to say that my bank offers nothing like that.  I have to find some other ways to make money – and I was lucky enough to find one that would work for me.

My solution came to me in a cryptic form HYIP.  For most of you, you probably don’t know what that means.  But if you translate it into English, HYIP stands for high yield investment program.  Basically, these types of programs give you interest rates that you never thought possible.  It is not uncommon to earn as much as your savings account does in interest for the whole year in just one day.  They are definitely one of the quicker ways to make money.

So we are going to give an HYIP that we found a shot.  We didn’t put all our money in, but if it does well, anything would help towards the new vehicle.

Well, we all hope our life with our computer is trouble free and smooth.  Sadly, that is usually not the case.  Seems that the operating system that most of us use (I am not going to name it here, but I am sure that you could guess what it is) sometimes has an issue or two with its’ registry (think master code).  Unfortunately, the tools that come with that operating system are not adequate for the job, so we must resort to other software to get the job done.

So, I was on a quest to find the best registry repair software.  Now, seeing that I am new to this whole problem I decided to find some reviews of the software that I would need.  After doing a quick search online, I found two of the most popular pieces of software that are used to keep your registry functioning properly.

Regcure was a name that came up very often in my search.  After reading a Regcure review or two, it sure looked promising.  I could put the software on automatic, much like a virus scanner and let it take care of the dirty work, or I could just do a manual scan.  From what I read, I was impressed.

The second common software name that came up was Registry Easy.  It basically had the same features as Regcure, but many Registry Easy reviews that I read told that users of this software had less problems and higher satisfaction than users of Regcure.

So, taking the recommendations of others I think I will be buying Registry Easy – seems like it is the best registry repair tool on the market.

Well, there is no point to blogging if no one reads it, right?  So, every blogger needs to market their site to let the world know that they are out there.  You can find bloggers using free directories, article directories and forums to promote their site.  The problem that we have though is that these marketing methods take time that could be used to write new articles or content instead.  So, I have made it a point to find other, better ways to market my site with a smaller time commitment.

Take free directory submissions for example.  You really have two options for this marketing method – you could either promote the site yourself (taking a lot of time) or purchase a blog directory submission service and let them do the work for you.  I find that the miniscule cost more than justifies the benefit and the time I save.

For those of you out there that don’t have a lot of money, or are cheap, listen up:  by spending a little of your money to promote your sites, it gives you more time to work on those things that actually making money.  Think about it.

I can sum up pimples and acne in one statement: they are an eyesore.  I have yet to meet someone that thinks acne is attractive (though I am sure someone thinks that way), and for those of you out there with acne, I am sure you want to get rid of it.

I am sure you have tried tons of different cleansers, but did you know that there are many acne treatment alternatives to cleansers?  That’s right, you don’t have to use some soap that feels like you are rubbing your head on the pavement – try one of these two alternatives.

For those of you with sever acne, or just a desire to get rid of it all quickly, try Vilantae.  It is available at your local drug store and online without a prescription so you could get some tonight.  Reading the list of side effects, you will find that they are very minor with the worst of it being a chance of diarrhea or an upset stomach.

For those of you that don’t like using medicines all the time, there is another option.  All you need to do to get rid of your acne is to increase your intake of Vitamin B5 – and let it work its’ magic.  You can take a B-complex vitamin or multi-vitamin each day and watch your acne fade away (did you catch the rhyme?).

So, quit using those cleansers and send your pimples packing using one of the above proven, pimple fighting methods.

It is that time of year when my son makes up his Christmas list.  I find what he asks for amusing sometimes and other times it is quite shocking.  For example, last year he wanted a toy turtle and a shell.  This year, it is a little different.  Whether it is because he has watched too much television, or he is picking it up from school, this year is much different.

Just the other day he came up to me and said:

"Can I get a Wii for Christmas dad?"

Well, I cannot say that I was expecting him to ask for video game systems at such a young age – but if that is what he wants, I will see what I can do.  Thing is if I bought the system, I would need to buy Wii games too, right?

Well, instead of buying everything myself, I decided to pass a list of games to his uncle and grandparents and they could each buy him one.  I made sure to mention that he loves Super Mario, so he should get a couple of games that he likes.

I was going to ask for an Xbox 360 and some games for Christmas, but after reading some Xbox360 game reviews, I decided against it.  My son would want to play with me, and the games are just not appropriate for his age.

Even though my son will be getting a Wii for Christmas, it will be in fact a family gift.  Just because we are parents, it doesn’t mean that we won’t want to play too.
